Mr. Goel has been working with Lex Commerci since many years, handling matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. After successful completion of his law degree in the year 2007 from GGSIP University, Mr. Akshat Goel started his practice before the Hon’ble and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh. Following this, he shifted his base to Delhi and worked with Mr. V.K. Bali, Senior Advocate (Former Chief Justice, Kerala High Court and Former President, Central Administrative Tribunal) before starting his individual practice.
Mr. Goel cleared his Advocate on Record Exam in 2014.
He has been practicing before Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, NCDRC, NCLT, APTEL, and various Tribunals. He has expertise in drafting various types of petitions along with vetting of documents/agreements. By experience, he is renowned in the matters filed by the Enforcement Directorate with regards to Money Laundering, properties attained out of proceeds of crime, etc.
In the past, Mr. Goel has been actively involved in various high profile cases arising out of the famous Madhukoda, “Gold for Coal” Scam; the age dispute of the former Chief of Army Staff; OP Chautala’s appeal against the conviction in the JBT teachers matter, etc. He was further engaged on behalf of a major pharmaceutical company for his counsel for acquisition of the “Orchid Pharma” when the matter reached the Supreme Court. Mr. Goel has been the standing counsel for the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for their litigation at NCDRC, Delhi including the High Court of Delhi and the Supreme Court of India. Additionally, he has also been representing various leading companies before NCDRC with respect to home buyer’s agreements.
